THE BRIEF
A global event, on a city's waterfront.
With thousands of fans descending on the Waitematā Harbour, the brief was simple to say and hard to do: welcome, guide, host and move a huge crowd so smoothly that nobody ever has to think about it. At an event this visible, the experience on land is part of the show and needs to be immaculate.
What we did
One team, various roles, a single standard.
Deployed a 85+ strong team across five areas of the event, each briefed to the same standard so that every guest met the same calibre of person wherever they were on site:
Box office and ticketing at the event entrance
Ushering across general admission and seated zones
Wayfinding to keep a large crowd oriented and moving
VIP hosting in the premium and hospitality areas
Managing simulator experiences
Mobility assistance for guests who needed extra support
Mascots to engage with the crowd

Across both race days, the guest experience ran smoothly at scale, with our team supporting tens of thousands of attendees through entry, navigation, accessibility, and VIP touch points.
