THE BRIEF
Bringing the school holidays to life at North City.
North City Shopping Centre wanted a fun, hands-on activation to keep families engaged over the school holidays. Select Management was brought in to supply two Brand Ambassadors to run the "Star Mart" activation, a dedicated space where kids could make their own take-home trinkets, guided step by step by the team.
What we did
Warm, patient, hands-on support for every young shopper.
Two ambassadors on the ground, running the activation daily and keeping the experience smooth for families:
Guided kids through the Star Mart activation from start to finish
Handed out instructions/recipe cards and helped children make their take-home trinkets
Covered daily shifts from 9:45am–2:15pm across the full July 6–17 school holiday period
Maintained North City's presentation standards (branded apron, tidy uniform) throughout
Coordinated with the North City customer service desk on logistics, parking, and check-ins each day
The Outcome
A fully delivered activation, every day of the holidays.
The Star Mart activation ran without a gap across the entire two-week school holiday period, with two ambassadors covering all 24 shifts back to back. Presentation and service standards were maintained consistently from the first day through to the last.
