THE BRIEF
Bringing Michelin to life on stage at the New Zealand Michelin Awards.
Michelin needed a team who could hold their own in a high-profile, formal awards setting, both on stage and on the floor. Select Management was brought in to supply and manage three trophy presentation ambassadors for the awards ceremony itself, as well as the Michelin Man mascot, who needed to roam the venue for photos and take centre stage for the full 90-minute ceremony.

Polished presenters and a high-energy mascot working in perfect sync to keep the whole evening feeling seamless:
Supplied three polished ambassadors to assist with presenting trophies on stage throughout the evening
Provided a tall, solid, high-energy mascot performer, managed with a dedicated minder for the full event
Ran a full dress rehearsal and briefing the evening before to have everything dialled in ahead of the night
Covered a 2pm–9pm call time, with the event opening at 4pm
Maintained high energy and presentation standards from first guest arrival through to the final trophy handed out
The Outcome
A seamless, high-profile delivery on one of NZ's biggest culinary nights.
Every planned location across all four cities was activated successfully, with ambassadors staying engaging and on-brand from the first stop to the last. The flagship Auckland locations were filmed for Carl's Jr.'s own content, and hundreds of vouchers were put directly into the hands of drivers and pedestrians at exactly the moment they were deciding where to eat — turning a routine competitor visit into a genuine flavour U-turn. The campaign wrapped without incident and was signed off by the client end to end.
