THE BRIEF
Manage one of Kiwibank's biggest activations of the year.
Uno Loco had been running Kiwibank's activation at Armageddon events over the past year, but with clashing commitments across their calendar, they needed a strong, confident Team Lead who could step in as a genuine extension of their on-site team. Not just extra hands, but someone capable of running the stand solo when required.
Select Management supplied an ambassador to join Uno Loco on the ground for the Palmerston North event, have full understanding of the activation, and take ownership of the stand for the final day.
What we did
Calm, capable support across a high-traffic VR activation.
Our Team Lead worked alongside the Uno Loco team at Kiwibank's VR gaming activation, where guests moved through interactive mini-games in group "pods":
Pre and on-site training with Uno Loco on day one to learn the activation, flow, and client expectations
Manage queues and crowd control across a busy two-day expo
Guide guests to and from the VR pods, keeping the experience running smoothly
Keep the stand clean, tidy, and presentation-ready throughout
Take full ownership of running and packing down the stand solo on day two
Work alongside Kiwibank's on-site client team, supporting wherever needed across the activation.

A seamless handover, and a stand run with confidence.
Our ambassador ran the Palmerston North activation independently to deliver the calm, capable, supervisor-level presence the brief called for, and setting the stage for future Armageddon events together with Uno Loco.
